These Raving Fan interviews were done BY me FOR my own clients.

If you are looking for my own Raving Fans, who I had interviewed for me, then you need to visit Bill's Raving Fans (Click Here).

Do not be a passive listener when you check out these interviews.  Notice how they are structured, how the questions are phrased, how much the actual voice of the client impacts the credibility of the story.

Bill's Client Showcase Listen to all of these interviews Bill did for his clients.  Why?  Because you will learn a great deal about how to conduct interviews yourself for any market.

The interviews you will find below were done by Bill Metcalf for his clients.  As you watch, read, or listen, you will begin to discover just how different these interviews are compared to typical "testimonials."

Before you start clicking, there are some important things to note.

If you are looking for Bill's Raving Fan stories (that is, testimonials about Bill) ,you will find those under Bill's Raving Fan Clients (Click Here) Bill engaged some associates to interview his own clients about what they learned from having Bill do Raving Fan interviews for them.

These interviews seem LONG!
Bill often produces success stories that run between 10-12 minutes long. These are certainly long comparing them to most testimonials. But they are NOT "most testimonials." They are something very different, indeed, as you will learn as you listen.
Will anyone read or listen to such long interviews?

There are two answers to that question:

  • You need NOT use the entire Raving Fan interview.  Bill often edits shorter pieces that can be strategically used throughout the site. For example, you will note that the little sound bites you find in the left hand column, are often quite short. They are there as "traditional" testimonial clips to make a specific point. This is quite useful if you sell different products and services. You might then choose to put similar short pieces on your site under those page headings to promote your specific services.

  • You can also create a "showcase page" (which is the page you are on right now), on which you put the entire interview. I think of it this way -- some people want "quick and dirty testimonials" and will never read or listen to these success stories. Fine. Give them quickies around your site. Other people want lots of detail and need a lot of proof. These longer format interviews serve to do that for them. This is very important when you are selling high-end services. The greater your fee the more proof people will want.

When you click on the names below, a new page will open where you can watch a Flash movie.  These movies require high speed Internet access and the latest version of Flash to be installed.  Stay tuned as we will soon have transcripts and MP3 audio files for those who prefer to just read or listen.
